For what concerns us the movies that we loved the most are over the documentary FAHRENHEIT 11/9 the American film-maker Michael Moore, THE OLD MAN & THE GUN David Lowery and first of all GREEN BOOK Peter Farrelly.
As in other documentaries Michael Moore FAHRENHEIT 11/9 It is once again in the front row to denounce the distortions of power and the lack of democracy in America. We must confess that on other occasions we have warned in an exaggerated provocation director. In all honesty assembly, the described facts do not leave space to the words. It was not by chance that Trump has won against all reasonable forecast. What has been lacking and missing is DEMOCRACY. In THE OLD MAN & THE GUN David Lowery we enjoyed a delicious Robert Redford that is undisturbed by weight of the years in his face in the interpretation of an American Arsenio Lupine: Forrest Tucker. True story of three serial robbers of a certain age who rob in a bloodless one hundred banks during their road map. It seems a moral actor's director testament that we love so much, and we wonder but it will be really his last film?
We waited and arrived in OFFICIAL SELECTION time to say: this is the film for which it is worth it to go to the movies!
We refer to GREEN BOOK Peter Farrelly with two great interpreters:Viggo Mortensen e Mahershala Ali. In this road movie we catpultati in New York, 60s where Tony Lip, Italian-born after the bouncer in local finds a particular job: chauffeur of Don Shirley. Don is a young African-American pianist who must embark on a tour in the Deep South racism. Tony must ensure the presence in the artist hall. And 'the journey of two daughters americas both emigration and marginalization that little is known. But the meeting of two social strata: true that Tony and the snob Don. But it is also a grotesque portrait of the American Deep South where it is hard to die racism.
