With “4 Songs for Santa Rosalia”, oratorio in four parts for soprano, mezzo soprano, narrator and orchestra, and the dramaturgy and lyrics by Fabrizio Lupo, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo opens on Thursday 27 June at 21:00 the show season, summer concerts and ballets. The show, with new music for the first time by composers Corinne Latteur, Giulia Tagliavia, Valentina Casesa and Maria Mannone, wants to contribute to renewing the rite that has celebrated devotion to the patron saint of Palermo for four hundred years and to giving new life to ancient texts
